All children had severe vitamin D deficiency (serum concentration < 4 ng / ml) and secondary hyperparathyroidism. Six of them had clinical and radiological evidence of rickets. The skin scales of 6 of the 7 children were significantly improved on the 5th day of treatment, and the treatment effect was further strengthened on the 10th day of treatment. At 1 month, the skin of all children with autosomal recessive congenital ichthyosis was close to normal. A significant reduction in limb stiffness was also observed in all children. For children with congenital ichthyosis with vitamin D deficiency, it may be an effective way to supplement high-dose vitamin D and continue to give the recommended daily dose of vitamin D.
